Fun with Rubber Stamped Christmas Cards

I decided to try something a little different  from usual today with a stamp I recently purchased at Walmart for less than a dollar. The same  light strand stamp was used on both of these cards. I stamped with black ink and and  colored the bulbs in  with red and green markers. The large flower on the first card was stamped with a foam stamp I've had "forever" and never used before. I guess we never know when something from our stash of "toys" will catch our eye and find its way into our projects !

Christmas Cards with my favorite punches and stickers

I'm still making Christmas cards, playing around with different ideas and supplies as I go.  These cards use the same Martha Stewart punches that I used on some cards I've already posted along with some stickers that I purchased at Walmart. Some are dimensional and some are flat, but all Christmas-y and cheerful.  I love making Christmas cards every year. I don't think I have purchased a card since the mid nineties !  Who needs to with so many fun products available for paper crafters !

Coaster and Cuttlebug Christmas Card

I absolutely love this  Cuttlebug embossing folder with the candy cane stripes. I was in Michaels recently and while looking around in the dollar section I came across several packages of heavy chipboard coasters. There were
six in a package for one dollar so I picked up several packages figuring I could use them for something. I decided to combine the two and ended up with a super simple dimensional Christmas card .  I really like this one and now wish I had bought more than just a few packs of the coasters !

K Andrew Owly Hoo Sentiments Card

Just got another awesome set of stamps from KAndrew and used  some of them  last night for this card. The stamps are a mix and match set with lots of random words to form your own sentiments.  I used Cordinations card stock and a Cuttlebug embossing folder and it OWL came together .......

Coffee Filter Wreath

Whew ! Finally finished !  After watching a couple of you tube videos last week on making coffee filter wreaths I decided I wanted to try to make one myself.  Total cost to me was probably less than $3 since I bought my supplies at The Dollar Tree. I probably need to shape this a little more before I hang it for the season (which I'll do after Thanksgiving) but for now, anyway, it's complete.  I worked on it while I've been watching the launch of the new Cricut Mini on hsn over and over again.  It was fun and easy to make . I'm glad I decided to try it since I've never done anything like this before. There are several videos available online for anyone who wants to give it a try. Now I need to find one for flowers since I still have lots of folded coffee filters left !
