Card for my Husband's Friend

My husband asked me to make a Get Well card for a friend of his who was recovering from surgery a while back. Because they hunt together this seemed appropriate. My husband was pleased with it and his friend  got a kick out of it too. Mission accomplished !

Cute Little Bag from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More

I love my Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More cartridge. This cute little bag was so easy to make. With the addition of a stamped image and some ribbon for handles it was ready for use....so cute and easy !

Bright & Cheerful Orange and Yellow

Glancing around my craft room my eyes spotted some orange cardstock and I remembered how much my mom loved the color orange. I decided to quickly throw together an orange card just for fun. I grabbed some bright yellow to go with it and some stickers for the borders, a cute little ladybug sticker and then decided to add a few flowers from a Recollections pack I got at Michaels on clearnace not long ago. The result was the cheerful and bright little card above.

A Couple of Birthday Cards

My dad and his brother are 8 years apart in age with birthdays just two days apart, on the 19th and 21st of August. My Uncle will be 90 years old  next week and my dad will turn 82 .  I made these cards for their birthdays, using the same papers in different ways. The striped paper is from a company called Diane's Daughters.  I don't know how long it's been in my paper collection but I wish I had another sheet of it .  There's just something about it that I really like !

Fun with KAndrew Art Stamps

One of my favorite bloggers is KAndrew. She recently started releaseing her own line of clear stamps and they are awesome...excellent quality and great fun to use!  I was so fortunate to win a set of her first stamps and I love them. The set is called Fashionable Friends. It goes great with the Imagine cartridge, Better Together and as I soon found out, with other cartridges that I also  have in my collection. I have two cards to share, both made with my new stamp set.  Once again, the first card has a border from my favorite Martha Stewart punch...I seem to use that alot !  The shoes  are from Better Together, the purses from Paper Dolls for Everyday and Paper Doll Dress Up. I used my Imagine to print and cut them, and used "papers" from Better Together on both. The little rhinestone purse handles came from Studio G and of course , the sentiments are from my  KAndrew Fashionable Friends stamp set . Making these was fun, and a way to show Kristal that her blog candy is appreciated and being used...thanks so much Kristal !
